On April 24th the CO2-EOR workgroup submitted letters to the President of the United States and Congress, outlining a menu of federal financing options to consider for CO2 pipeline infrastructure that would help achieve important national energy production, economic, job creation and environmental objectives.
The State CO2-EOR Deployment Workgroup is convened by Governors Matt Mead of Wyoming and Steve Bullock of Montana and is comprised of state officials from 12 oil and gas producing states along with private sector stakeholders and experts in carbon capture and CO2-enhanced oil recovery.
