At the invitation of Great Plains Institute (GPI) Board Chair Will Kaul, GPI President and CEO Rolf Nordstrom will join the new Advisory Council for the Energy Systems Integration Group, which works to chart the future of energy systems integration and operations.
Given GPI’s mission of transforming the energy system to benefit the economy and environment and our core values of collaboration and shared leadership, Rolf looks forward to engaging with an organization that, as they describe, recognizes the “interdependent nature of the global energy industry” and the “growing need for coordination across the ways that we produce, convert, deliver and use energy.”
On joining the council Rolf shared, “I’m honored to be a part of this group. Transforming the energy system requires a systems view and is not something that any one organization, government, or company can do alone, so it is valuable to find opportunities to engage with other leaders who are working in different areas and leverage solutions across sectors, disciplines, and geographies.”
