I’m pleased to welcome Carly Gelderman as a program assistant with GPI’s Transportation and Fuels Program. Carly will assist with meeting and event coordination, communications, stakeholder outreach, and supporting all areas of our work, including projects related to electric vehicles and biofuels.
A graduate of Drake University with a bachelor of arts in biology, Carly shared that she is “looking forward to assisting with efforts to increase awareness about the benefits of electric vehicles, supporting policies that result in lowering emissions from the transportation sector, and learning more about the bioeconomy in Minnesota.”
Carly originally joined GPI as a communications intern in 2016 and in 2017 joined GPI’s Drive Electric Minnesota team as the social media intern. Prior to joining GPI, Carly worked at the Department of Natural Resources as a Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa member where she focused on web and social media development. Carly also previously served as a Volunteer In-Service to America (VISTA).
