I’m pleased to welcome Kristoffer Acuña to the GPI team as a program assistant with the Metro Clean Energy Resource Team (Metro CERT). In this position, Kris will work on the Cities Charging Ahead! project, which aims to help Minnesota cities increase understanding of and make progress toward electric vehicle readiness. Kris will also assist with additional projects for GPI’s work as part of the Metro CERT and other projects that are part of our Communities Program.
Kris began his experience at GPI as a volunteer and intern in 2018, assisting with GPI’s Metro CERT work and the REAMP City Action team. Kris shared that he’s excited to join the GPI team in this new role and that he has particularly enjoyed being part of the growth of the Cities Charging Ahead! project and conducting research on what cities around the Midwest are doing to address climate change.
Always having a love for the natural world, Kris graduated from Yale University with a bachelor of science in astrophysics.
