We’re grateful for the incredible support we received over the last year as people invested in expanding the Great Plains Institute’s impact by helping us succeed in meeting two challenge matches.
In December 2018, we met a challenge match of $25,000 by Great River Energy. This match built on the successful challenge match earlier in 2018 by Great River Energy and The McKnight Foundation of $50,000. We want to thank Great River Energy and The McKnight Foundation for this generous support.
These challenge matches, from a nation-leading electric cooperative and nation-leading foundation, that are met by our supporters from across the US demonstrate the growing impact of our work to reach the speed and scale needed to transform the energy system in ways that benefit the economy and environment.
