Great Plains Institute Earns Highest Possible Recognition from GuideStar

We are pleased to announce that the Great Plains Institute (GPI) has achieved the Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar!

GuideStar is the world’s largest source of information on nonprofit organizations and a Platinum Seal is its highest level of recognition; fewer than one percent of nonprofits earn this distinction.

“This honor demonstrates GPI’s commitment to provide transparency and financial accountability in our work as we doggedly pursue our mission to transform the energy system to benefit the economy and environment,” said Rolf Nordstrom, GPI president and CEO.

To earn this new level of transparency, we updated our public profile on GuideStar to allow you to find in-depth information about our goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress. This is in addition to the financial information that we previously shared to earn the Gold Seal. You can view our GuideStar profile here

We are proud that GuideStar has recognized our work and transparency, as we take our mission and our supporters’ part in our work seriously. Your continued support is what makes GPI’s work possible.

Please join us! By investing in our time-sensitive work today, you enable us to reach the speed and scale needed to tackle our greatest energy challenges.

Together, we can indeed achieve Better Energy for a Better World.
