Douglas Jaeger

MINNEAPOLIS – Ulteig President and CEO Douglas Jaeger has joined the Great Plains Institute (GPI) board of directors.

“We’re thrilled to have an experienced business leader like Doug join our board of directors,” said Great Plains Institute CEO & President Rolf Nordstrom. “Doug is a proven innovator and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that spans the energy sector.”

The addition of Jaeger to the now eight-member board of directors is another positive sign of GPI’s growing impact in the energy space.

“One of the things that attracted me to GPI is their demonstrated track record of bringing diverse interests together to create lasting energy and climate solutions,” said Jaeger. “I’m eager to contribute to the Institute’s unique blend of consensus-based policy development, incisive research and analysis, and on-the-ground implementation of clean energy technologies and practices.”

While CEO of Ulteig, Doug also serves on the Board of Advisors for Computype, Inc, St. Paul and the board of directors for CE Power Solutions, Cincinnati, OH. He is serving, or has served, on numerous non-profit boards including North American Electric Reliability Corporation, Minnesota Independent Schools Forum, Prodeo Academy, and Minneapolis Children’s Theatre Company.

Doug holds an undergraduate degree from St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
